DAVID MCGOWAN
PRESIDENT AND CEO
David is currently owner and President, CEO for: Inland Real Estate School, formerly part of Inland Real Estate Brokerage, Inc. He was Managing Broker of Inland Real Estate Brokerage’s Oak Brook office for 10 years and named Director of the school in 2007. As Director of Education, he expanded the curriculum and increased the school’s offerings, enrollment and locations.
STEPHANIE KROL
VICE PRESIDENT AND COO
Dr. Krol has a proven track record of procuring new clients, generating sales volume and exercising professional fulfillment of duties. She has built her career on successfully building long-term, mutually beneficial relationships with clients, vendors and colleagues. Stephanie also has a proven reputation of excellence and professionalism among clients and peers alike whether in Higher Education (Professor, Speaker, Curriculum, School Consultant and Training Developer, and sought after Higher Education Dean) Real Estate Brokering, and Consulting over the last 25 years because of her proven market knowledge, integrity and personalized approach.
Her multidimensional real estate approach includes: luxury residential, estates, equine facilities, residential, and commercial space. She has developed an expansive Chicago, western suburban IL and western Michigan network of business owners, property owners and civic leaders..
She is the acting Vice President/COO at: Inland Real Estate School and is responsible for day-to-day operations and company structure. She is also the President/CEO of, Catalyst Group, Inc.), her personal company, which provides: Health and Wellness Coaching, High-end Real Estate Investor Education, Real Estate Referrals (Nationwide) Higher Education Management Consulting, and Certified Mediation Services. She is also a licensed Broker in IL and is a Licensed Realtor in MI assisting buyers and sellers nationwide through Real Estate Referrals, which is a FREE service to her real estate clients!
Prior to moving in to Real Estate full-time, Dr. Krol was the Director of Education/Chief Managing Operator for two well-known for-profit colleges, worked for one of the largest online for-profit colleges as their Training and Development Manager for the campus, and was a Membership Specialist over two counties. She successfully built and maintained a Legacy campus and brought a struggling start-up campus to #1. Under Dr. Krol’s administration, the Legacy campus became best in the Region for, year over year: Staff Retention, Student Retention, Externship Rates/ Placements, and #1 Ambassador Program. She attained: Woman of the Year 2010-2011/National Association of Professional Women, for excellence in the field of Education for those school achievements.
Under Dr. Krol’s supervision, the start-up campus achieved best overall: Student Retention (out of 42 schools at 1%), Customer Satisfaction (turn around/bi-annual Student Surveys/2011-2012, from a -26 to a +25), Staff Retention, Service Learning Initiative opportunities/Externship Sites Ranked #1), and achieved full-School and multiple-Programmatic Accreditations.
She achieved VIP, Entrepreneur of the Year 2012-2013/Nationwide Who's Who for her accomplishments. She has been an online and on-ground Professor, Tutor (K-8 and college for migrant workers, and Taiwanese students), Instructor and Curriculum Writer for the earlier portion of those 17 years also, running and writing grants as well as writing summer camp and equestrian curriculums.
She was the Training and Development Manager for one of the largest online for-profit colleges (increased faculty training completion rate from 50% to 91% in 1st session with 63 participants to a 100% completion rate in the 2nd session out of 65 faculty and achieved a Satisfied trainer rate of 95% with final session, at 100%), training over 400 faculty to teach online.
She attained: VIP member from Nationwide Who's Who for Excellence in Mediation Services 2013-2014, Best of 2022 Oak Brook for Publishing Service provider & Hybrid Publishing, was inducted into The Marquis Who’s Who Publications Board 2022-2023.
