Instructor Presentations
We provide instructor presentations to recap the reading assignments and emphasize the material that is most often tested on the licensing exam. We want to make sure our students understand the important concepts in each unit.
Reading Assignments
Every unit will begins with a mandatory reading assignment that will provide the required education for that section. Students can download the reading assignments or print them to study at their convenience.
Exercises, Quizzes, Exams
Our portal includes unit exercises and quizzes to test your knowledge on the information introduced in that section. We also offer practice exams to properly prepare each student and ensure you can pass licensing exam on your first attempt.

Complete the courses with our school.

Pass the state exam and get your license.
Following your pre-license education, you will need to take and pass a state licensing examination. Upon successful completion of the exam, you will be issued your license and can launch your career in the real estate industry.

David is currently owner and President, CEO for: Inland Real Estate School, formerly part of Inland Real Estate Brokerage, Inc. He was Managing Broker of Inland Real Estate Brokerage’s Oak Brook office for 10 years and named Director of the school in 2007. As Director of Education, he expanded the curriculum and increased the school’s offerings, enrollment and locations.

Frequently Asked Question
I want to do the Home study, why do I have to do 15 Hours of LIVE Training?
It's required by law to do 15 hours LIVE in a classroom (in person or via Zoom) and unlike other course providers that only sell you the home study course and then force you to pay up to $500 extra for the last 15 hours, we include it FREE with our Home Study Course!
Can the courses be completed entirely online?
Yes, our courses are designed to completed 100% online. All course materials, quizzes, and final exams can be accessed and completed over the internet.
What if I have questions about the course material? Is there someone I can communicate with?
Yes. Each student is assigned an instructor when they register that the student can access by telephone or email with any questions or issues.
How long does the LIVE Pre-License course take to complete?
Our live interactive structured programs are 3-week presentations. Completion of the on-line exams, which are a requirement for completion of the program, must be completed within 90 days from the start date of the live program. Should additional time be required, an additional 90 days can be secured upon payment of a $75 extension fee. Should the time required exceed the 6 month maximum time frame the student must re-register for the entire program.
How long does the Self Study course take to complete?
The first 60 hours of our self study program must be completed within 90 days from the date enrollment has been confirmed. This includes completion of the online exams. The remaining 15 hours of live structured instruction required must be completed within 60 days following completion of the last online exam. Upon completion of the 15 hour live structured presentation, the student will have 30 days to schedule a proctored final exam by scheduling time to come into the school office.
Do the courses have practice examination questions to prepare me for the state licensing exam?
Each course contains hundreds of quiz and exam questions that are meant to replicate the questions on the state examination. Each course also contains a final exam to ensure you are prepared before taking the licensing exam.
