Inland Real Estate School has many diverse course offerings, and is able to accommodate many different kinds of coursework and learning needs. Whatever schedule you are working, and whatever level you are studying at, we can work with you. Our real estate course progression looks like this:
Pre-License Real Estate Broker Course
In this course, students complete 90 hours of education (per the State of Illinois) to qualify for the Broker License. This is an entry level license that allows the licensee to perform real estate related functions on behalf of the consumer, under the guidance of a managing broker.
Student Ginna Ryan shares her thoughts:
I had a terrific experience with the Pre-Broker License class at the Inland Real Estate School. I was torn between doing the self-study or the 3 week classroom and I am very pleased that I did the classroom. David McGowan is an excellent instructor and it was evident that his primary goal was for each of us to be successful and pass our State exam. Ginna Ryan
Post-License Real Estate Home-Study Course
The post license program is designed to use that knowledge which you have gained from the previous class, and from your practical experiences over the last 2 years, then re-apply it to the law. In class, we take the theory of the law and contrast the complexity and simplicity, as it impacts the real estate the consumer.
R’Che Danley describes his experience:
Dave McGowan is an amazing instructor. The real life examples that he provides helps to understand the theory, practicality, and legality of real estate. Dave was extremely helpful and patient with his students as we all tried to understand the world of real estate. He broke down the class in a reasonable way that allowed students to manage the information properly. I’m grateful for Dave’s expertise and experience. Thank you, Dave, for helping me pass the Illinois Real Estate state and national exam! - R’Che Danley
Real Estate Managing Broker Course
This course allows you to work independently on your own behalf, or own, or run or manage a real estate brokerage office on behalf of another. To qualify to take this course, you must have been a licensed broker for two of the three years immediately prior to taking the state managing broker exam after having past your broker license.
Happy news from Tranelle Jackson, student:
I just passed the state exam! - Tranell Jackson
